ComedyShorts Berlin is known for its fast-paced story-telling style, featuring competitive improv games that are driven by audience-suggestions. The group performs in English, has been putting on regular shows since 2005 and continues to feature many of Berlin’s top improv talent in what is known as 'short-form improv'.
Set up like a sporting event, ComedyShort’s playful, interactive performance format thrives on action-driven, head-to-head, aggressive-in-a-good-way camaraderie between the teams, the players and the audience.
As the audience judges who was more entertaining team, the referee keeps score, and at the end of the match, the winning team walks away with the Comedy Cup. But, of course, the REAL winner... is the audience. (corny, and true.)
